Every season for years, ESPN has found some random player in the NFL Draft and called them "Prospect X." They've worked to keep the player anonymous, but it's always an underrated or overlooked player, according to the article's premise. Each season, fans try to figure out who the player is, this time many believe it's Washington's Zach Durfee.

Durfee fits every clue in the article, and fans are fired up that they may have figured it out and that Prospect X is a Washington Husky. But let's follow the clues and see if you come to the same conclusion.

Washington's Zach Durfee is a direct match for ESPN's Prospect X

The big clues in the article are that the player started as a walk-on at a small school that had very limited resources. Durfee had to walk on to Sioux Falls College, which is D-II in the middle of nowhere. This checks out.

The other major clue is that the player in the profile has a poor injury history, which has derailed Prospect X's career many times. This is also the biggest knock on Durfee, that his injury history is concerning. UW Dawg Pound's NFL Draft Profile on Durfee said this, "Injuries repeatedly interrupted his ability to string together full seasons, limiting both his production and his consistency."

We also find a clue in the article about how the player played quarterback in high school. Durfee didn't play edge in high school and was converted to that when he was a walk-on at Sioux Falls.

The other knock on Prospect X was that the player has short arms. Well, Durfee has that same flaw. His arms are measured at 31.5 inches, and that's on the shorter side for edge rushers. Actually, pretty startling short.

On the plus side, it talks about a player with freakish measurables and testing results, especially the 40-yard dash time. Durfee had a 4.58 at UW's Pro Day. That's insanely fast for an edge, and he does show incredible flashes in the pass-rushing game.

There are other clues, and none of them seem to eliminate Durfee. Washington Husky fans may have actually figured out who Prospect X is, and all signs seem to point to it being Durfee. No one will know for sure until after the draft when ESPN reveals Prospect X.
