College basketball season is officially here, and it could be one of the most promising for the Washington Huskies men's team in years. Already with an impressive exhibition win over UNLV and multiple outlets projecting them as a contender in the stacked Big Ten, the Huskies have a chance to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019.

And it all starts tonight a 8:00 p.m. PT against Arkansas-Pine Bluff of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, at home in Alaska Airlines Arena.

Where to watch Washington vs Arkansas-Pine Bluff on TV

The first game of Washington's season will be shown exclusively on the Big Ten Network (B1G+). With a full slate of college basketball games tipping off tonight, and with UW facing a bottom-tier team in a mid-major conference so late in the evening, it makes sense why national networks wouldn't want to touch this game.

If you don't have a Big Ten Network subscription, there's still plenty of options to listen to the game on the radio, or follow stats online here.

How to listen to Washington vs Arkansas-Pine Bluff on the radio

You can listen to the game on the radio in the Seattle area on 950 KJR AM, or via the iHeartRadio app. Access to the broadcast can also be made on UW's channel on The Varsity Network, which can be found when looking at the game on GoHuskies.com.

What should Husky fans know about Arkansas-Pine Bluff?

The Huskies should have one of the easiest first games in all of college basketball, as according to KenPom rankings, Arkansas-Pine Bluff is ranked No. 364 out of 365 Division I programs. The Golden Lions went 6-25 a season ago, second-to-last in the SWAC ahead of Mississippi Valley State -- who went 3-28 and happens to be the only program ranked below them going into the 2025-26 season.

Meanwhile, Washington is ranked 45th in KenPom, and are coming off a 13-18 season in Danny Sprinkle's first season as head coach. The outlook for the Huskies this season is much better however, as a revamped roster full of high-level transfers and freshmen looks to be one of the best in the Big Ten.

What are the odds for Washington vs Arkansas-Pine Bluff?

As you can expect based on UAPB's description, the betting action for this game will be pretty lopsided -- with oddsmakers heavily favoring the Huskies. The spread opened up with Washington has -31.5 favorites, but has since jumped up to currently stand at -34.5. The total over/under for the matchup is set at 157.5 total points, and most betting sites don't even offer additional props like a moneyline or player props due to how one-sided this game shapes up to be.
