In theory, this is certainly a winnable game for Tina Langley and the Huskies, but Washington won’t exactly be considered an overwhelming favorite in this Big Ten matchup against the Wolverines. If you ask the ESPN Analytics Matchup Predictor, the Huskies don’t have much of a shot at winning.

Right now, that number crunching system has the Huskies with just a 14.5 percent chance of coming out on top Wednesday evening in the Crisler Center.

And it’ll be interesting to see how these two teams match up. It’s not just the overall and conference records that make this game intriguing.

It’s the fact that Washington is one of the best teams in the Big Ten from behind the three point line with a 35.9 percent three-point percentage. Meanwhile, Michigan has stifled foes from deep, shutting folks down with their stout perimeter defense that holds opponents to just 25.1 percent from three-point range.
