The Washington Huskies women’s basketball team is unbeaten and hitting the road. For the first time this season, UW will play somewhere other than Seattle and we’re going to find out if the Huskies can keep up their scoring surge on the road as they face the Montana Grizzlies.

Washington boasts an unblemished record as the Huskies currently hold a 4-0 record through their first four games. Meanwhile, Montana sits at 1-2 heading into Sunday’s game between these two teams.

While this is a road game and that could theoretically provide a few problems for the Huskies in this one, Washington has clearly looked like a notably better team than the Grizzlies have to get this season started.

That’s evident in the records, but it’s also visible in how the Huskies have been beating up on their opponents through their first four games. UW is averaging over 88 points per game and all four of the Huskies’ wins have come by over 20 points.

It’s a pretty solid way to get the season started.

Let’s not count this as a given win, but we can probably expect the Huskies to come out on top of this one. It’s the perfect opportunity for Washington to continue to build upon this solid start to the season and get even more momentum moving forward.

This will be Washington’s only road game before Christmas and will give us a glimpse at just how good the Huskies can be when playing outside of Alaska Airlines Arena. Here’s to hoping that they can be pretty great.
