How to watch Washington Huskies vs. Penn State Nittany Lions: TV, live stream, stats
By Ethan Lee
It’s not like the Washington Huskies have been particularly impressive when it comes to road games so far this season. To be completely frank, the Huskies have really, truly been rather awful at times when playing outside of Husky Stadium.
From the very winnable Apple Cup nonsense that ended in infuriating disaster to getting run over by Rutgers, Iowa, and Indiana, Jedd Fisch’s Washington Huskies clearly haven’t been up to the task of taking on tough road opponents.
And this weekend, the Washington Huskies, now just one win away from bowl eligibility, might just be facing what is their toughest road test of the season. At least up to this point in the season that is. The trip out East for a night matchup with the Penn State Nittany Lions in Happy Valley (for a White Out) will be tough! It’s not guaranteed to be all that fun!
The Nittany Lions are solid and Beaver Stadium packs in well over 100,000 fans. Fisch and the Huskies will need to be prepared when they face off against the College Football Playoff hopeful.

- Get a road win for the first time this season
- Prove that Washington can contend, and beat, competent and powerful Big Ten programs in tough situations
- Snag a landmark win for Jedd Fisch and his coaching staff, they could use one
So, this game isn’t a must win sort of situation, but it sure would be beneficial for everyone on Montlake if the Huskies managed to handle business on the road against the Penn State Nittany Lions.
