How much can be said about the way that Elle Ladine has stepped up for the Washington Huskies lately? When you take a look at just how good she was on the road in front of over 4,000 fans against the Minnesota Golden Gophers, it’s clear that Ladine’s potential is pretty impressive.

Time and time again, Ladine has made huge plays for the Huskies. Both in this season and all throughout her career. But looking at this 10-point midweek win in Minneapolis, you’ll see nothing but great play from the Huskies’ junior guard.

If you want to talk about efficiency, she certainly managed to be the perfect definition of efficient. Ladine scored 10 of her 13 shots from the field, which is good for just under 77 percent shooting. On top of that, Ladine was perfect from deep as she made four of her four three point attempts.

Add in going two of three from the free throw line and, in total, Ladine ended up scoring more than a third of Washington’s points against Minnesota. That’s just incredible.

This was a pretty well rounded sort of performance as well. That’s important to remember. It’s not like Ladine just scored a game high 26 points. She also managed to grab five rebounds, hand out a couple of assists, and snag a steal.

Ladine did have four turnovers, but she’s only human.

I mean, we’re talking about a performance where she scored a dozen more points than the next leading scorer on her team. Ladine managed to score 13 points more than what Minnesota’s leading scorer was able to contribute.

And she was consistent! Ladine helped the Huskies overcome that slow start, hit some crucial shots late in the game, and guided Washington to a 10-point road win in the Big Ten. That’s really solid.
