Denzel Boston was considered a late first-round pick for most of the NFL mock draft season. Yet, he fell out of the first round after it completed on Thursday night. He's now almost assuredly going to find his name called in the second round, and he's considered one of the top remaining players on the board. It shouldn't be long before he hears his name called, and he knows where he will be playing for his rookie NFL season.

The question is, which team is the most likely to pick him in the second round? If we are making a prediction, there's one team that will grab him.

The good news for Boston is that the Las Vegas Raiders have the 36th pick, and now that they have Fernando Mendoza, they desperately need weapons for him. Boston is the best wide receiver left in the draft. If he falls to the Raiders, which he should based on need, it would be surprising to see Las Vegas let him slip further.

The teams ahead of Vegas are the 49ers, Cardinals, and Bills. The Cardinals are almost assuredly not going with a wide receiver but the 49ers or Bills could if they see Boston as the best available player on their big boards. Each could use a wide receiver but it's not their primary concern.

If the Raiders are feeling desperate about getting Boston, there could be an early trade up, especially if smoke is blowing about the 49ers or Bills sniffing around Boston.

ESPN actually has the Buffalo Bills taking him with the No. 35. So, things could get interesting. He won't make it past Las Vegas, that's almost a certainty.

For Husky fans, though, you can assume he's going in those first handful of picks. It would shock everyone if he made it past No. 40 in the NFL Draft.
