Heading into week 14, Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies are gearing up for one more regular season game. After the Huskies finish up their regular season on the road in Eugene, Oregon by taking on Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks, UW will head into bowl game prep mode.

Sure, there is recruiting to be done as the early signing period is just about upon us. But we’re focusing in on the bowl game preparation for a moment here. Because there are some truly unique and intriguing potential bowl possibilities up ahead for Fisch and the Huskies.

Most of these bowl projections are more than likely made with the assumption that UW will end up losing this game against Oregon. And that’s because most people are just expecting the Huskies to lose to the Ducks this week.

Which, you know, fair enough. Throughout the bulk of the season, UW hasn’t looked anywhere near as complete of a team as Oregon has. But, hey, rivalry week can get weird and maybe something unexpected happens?

Anyways, here’s what the bowl projections look like at the moment.

How does the Sun Bowl sound to you? As a noted fan of El Paso, Texas, I can get on board with this sort of matchup as the Washington Huskies are possibly headed that way according to both Kyle Bonagure and Mark Schlabach of ESPN.

But they aren’t alone in that sort of projection. Or for the destination, that is. USA Today’s Erick Smith also has the Huskies headed down to Texas to play in the Sun Bowl. Except he has UW facing the now coachless North Carolina Tar Heels. I’m not opposed, you know?

Elsewhere, we’ve got a few folks guessing that Washington might be headed on over to Las Vegas to meet up with an SEC team. According to these bowl projections, Washington might face either the Missouri Tigers or Ole Miss Rebels.

Back to Texas for a moment. According to one projection, it looks like Washington could make a trip back to the Lone Star State for a matchup in the Alamo Bowl. San Antonio is a nice city.

Or there’s a possible trip to San Diego for the Holiday Bowl!

Basically, expect Washington to go *checks notes* somewhere. And, should the Huskies find a way to beat Oregon this weekend, then this list will likely look rather different around this time next week.
