Tina Langley and her Washington Husky basketball team will have a shot to move up in the Big Ten women’s basketball standings this evening as they head on up to Minneapolis, Minnesota to face the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

And for a UW women’s basketball team that has some momentum and has demonstrated plenty of resilience in recent matchups, that’s exciting to think about. Of course, we’ll reserve all potential opportunities for celebrations until after the game is complete.

But here’s to hoping for a chance to celebrate moving up a little bit in the Big Ten?

If you’re on the West Coast and want to watch some Big Ten basketball, then you’ve got a great slate of games with nearly perfect tipoff times. If you can sneak out of work a little early, then you’ll be able to watch the Iowa Hawkeyes face off against the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor or the Michigan State Spartans and the Ohio State Buckeyes meet in Columbus.

After that, the Wisconsin Badgers will be welcoming the UCLA Bruins to Madison, Wisconsin for a game in the Kohl Center and the Washington Huskies will be taking on the Minnesota Golden Gophers over in Minneapolis.

There’s a lot of Midwest basketball happening across the Big Ten this afternoon. And that provides you with a pretty good slate of games to catch once you get home from work.
