Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies could definitely use a home win this weekend. Following a deflating 35-6 road loss to the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Huskies now sit at 3-4 in conference play, putting them right in the middle of the Big Ten, but that’s far from where the Huskies want to be.

On top of that, Washington is winless on the road this season. The Huskies simply cannot win away from Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium. And with just two games remaining this season and Washington sitting at 5-5 on the season, UW needs a win to make it to a bowl game.

It’s worth noting that this week 12 matchup against the UCLA Bruins happens to be Washington’s final home game of the season.

So, yeah, Washington needs a win! In the worst way possible! The Huskies are an impressive 5-0 at home, but they’re 0-4 on the road and 0-1 in a neutral site matchup.

After that road loss to Penn State, Washington is now sitting right in the middle of the Big Ten standings by being tied for the No. 9 spot. Interestingly enough, one-third of this conference has either three or four conference losses this season.

The Big Ten’s middle class is pretty full this season.
