Things haven’t always been great for the Washington Husky softball team this season. There was a rough stretch of games that UW went through not that long ago. However, Washington has managed to win seven of its last 10 games and the Huskies have won four games in a row.
That, my friends, is good news.
The bad news? Well, the Oregon Ducks and UCLA Bruins, two college softball teams that Washington is unfortunately pretty familiar with, happen to be holding on to the top two spots in the Big Ten softball standings right now.
It’s still early in the season though and plenty of things can change. We haven’t even gotten to conference play just yet. So things certainly will change sooner rather than later. And as for UW, the Huskies will have plenty of chances to prove themselves soon enough.
Right now, let’s keep taking the incremental improvements that come with building momentum against teams in Hawaii, shall we?
