With the Washington Huskies entering their first season in the Big Ten, there’s a lot for this team to prove. And right now, the Huskies really need to find a way to start stringing together some wins. At the moment, ahead of the OUTRIGGER Classic in Hawaii, the Huskies aren’t exactly looking like world beaters as they get set to face a tough slate of Big Ten teams later this season.
The Big Ten has an abundance of talent all across the country in numerous sports, but that’s also certainly true when it comes to NCAA softball. So, the Huskies will face plenty of tough tests all throughout the season.
Which makes it important for UW to build some momentum while in Hawaii, string together a few wins, and improve the resume ahead of what is sure to be a challenging conference schedule this year. Such is life as a Big Ten softball team.

As Big Ten play gets closer and closer, wins will become more and more difficult to get. Thankfully, not every team in the Big Ten will be the most difficult team ever, but Washington can’t take anything for granted this season.
