After sweeping a doubleheader against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights this past weekend, the Washington Huskies are back at home in Seattle and ready to host the Cal Poly Mustangs for a midweek matchup. This is a game that Washington (should in theory) win with relative ease. Especially when considering that the Huskies are on a bit of a roll right now.
But, all that said, Washington isn’t the only Big Ten softball team playing today. For NCAA softball fans (or Big Ten college softball fans) interested in catching some action that doesn’t involve the Huskies, you do have a few options involving a few other teams around the conference.

The Iowa Hawkeyes will get things started today as they host the South Dakota State Jackrabbits in Iowa City. Then, about an hour and a half after that, we get Washington’s game against Cal Poly, the Michigan Wolverines hosting the Western Michigan Broncos in Ann Arbor, and Ohio State hosting Purdue Fort Wayne.

- 12:30 p.m. PT - South Dakota State Jackrabbits vs. Iowa Hawkeyes (Iowa City, IA)
- 2 p.m. PT - Cal Poly Mustangs vs. Washington Huskies (Seattle, WA)

After game one between Iowa and South Dakota State wraps up, they’ll play a second game. It’s a doubleheader! And then to wrap things up, the Illinois Fighting Illini are hosting the Northern Iowa Panthers.
