For the first time since migrating from the Pac-12 to the Big Ten, the Oregon Ducks and the USC Trojans are going to meet up as members of the Big Ten. And I, for one, am wondering if it’s technically possible for both of them to lose? Is that something that we can have happen?

There’s plenty of other Big Ten baseball action to watch though, if that isn’t something you really want to watch. Conference play begins this weekend and the Indiana Hoosiers and Penn State Nittany Lions will technically play the first Big Ten series of the season.

And that could be fun, especially with Penn State being one of the best teams in the conference to get the season started.

NCAA baseball schedule, March 7: Which Big Ten baseball teams are playing today?

Ready to take a look at the baseball schedule? I hope you’re ready for some early morning baseball because the Michigan State Spartans and Cornell Big Red will be playing at 7 a.m. (for folks out on the West Coast, that is) while Indiana and Penn State will start their series at 9 a.m.

  • 7 a.m. - Michigan State Spartans vs. Cornell Big Red (Greenville, SC)
  • 9 a.m. - Indiana Hoosiers at Penn State Nittany Lions (State College, PA)
  • 11 a.m. - Michigan State Spartans vs. UAB Blazers (Greenville, SC)
  • 11 a.m. - Iowa Hawkeyes at Rutgers Scarlet Knights (Piscataway, NJ)
  • 12 p.m. - Indiana Hoosiers at Penn State Nittany Lions (State College, PA)
  • 1 p.m. - UCLA Bruins at Maryland Terrapins (College Park, MD)
  • 1 p.m. - Valparaiso Beacons at Ohio State Buckeyes (Columbus, OH)
  • 3 p.m. - Northwestern Wildcats vs. The Citadel Bulldogs (Charleston, SC)
  • 3:30 p.m. - Michigan Wolverines vs. Illinois Fighting Illini (Vero Beach, FL)
  • 4 p.m. - Purdue Boilermakers at Minnesota Golden Gophers (Minneapolis, MN)
  • 6:30 p.m. - Oregon Ducks at USC Trojans (Los Angeles, CA)

Indiana and Penn State will actually play twice on Friday, but that won’t be the only Big Ten conference series to take place. Iowa and Rutgers will also meet up and the Michigan Wolverines will take on the Illinois Fighting Illini. Purdue and Minnesota play in the afternoon. Oh, and then that Oregon vs. USC game.
