As Tina Langley and the Washington Huskies continue on with their historic first season in the Big Ten, there aren’t all that many games remaining on the 2024-2025 Washington Husky women’s basketball schedule.

The season is truly starting to wind down.

Let’s go ahead and analyze the toughest games that remain on the 2024-2025 Washington Huskies women’s basketball schedule. We’re going to go through the four most difficult games left on the schedule and they’ll be ranked according to the win percentage given from the ESPN Analytics Matchup Predictor tool.

And here we go, ranking the games from most to least winnable.

No. 4: Washington Huskies vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers - February 23 in Lincoln

Later this month, the Washington Huskies will take a trip to Lincoln, Nebraska to face off against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. And right now, it seems like the Huskies might have some trouble when they meet up with Nebraska in Lincolns. ESPN Analytics is giving UW a 22.5 percent chance to win this one, but Nebraska is 15-5 overall and 6-3 in Big Ten play. Oh, and they’re 12-1 at home.

No. 3: Washington Huskies vs. Minnesota Golden Gophers - February 26 in Minneapolis

Coming in at No. 3 on this list is Washington’s game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers in Minneapolis towards the end of this month. Minnesota boasts an 18-3 overall record and is 12-1 at home this season. Washington doesn’t really have a great chance of coming out on top and ESPN Analytics is giving UW a 20.7 percent chance of finding a way to win this one in Williams Arena.

No. 2: Washington Huskies vs. Ohio State Buckeyes - February 2 in Columbus

That’s right, this weekend, the Washington Huskies will take on what is being ranked as what is the second most difficult game remaining on their schedule. The No. 8 Ohio State Buckeyes boast a 19-1 overall record and an 8-1 record in Big Ten play. And right now, ESPN Analytics is giving the Huskies just a 9.6 percent chance of winning this game. I’m honestly a little shocked that this game isn’t the top one on this list.

No. 1: Washington Huskies vs. USC Trojans - February 16 in Seattle

According to the number crunching system, this is the most difficult game that is left on Washington’s schedule. I would have assumed that title was going to UW’s game against the Ohio State Buckeyes, but here we are.

Washington is being given just a 7.4 percent chance of being able to beat the USC Trojans. And USC’s 18-1 overall record and 8-0 Big Ten record are pretty good indicators of just how good that team happens to be this season.
