The first weekend of official recruiting visits starts this weekend, and the Washington Huskies are looking to propel their top 15 recruiting class into the top 10. There is a good number of blue-chip recruits coming over the next month, and Fisch is hoping to land a handful of them, if not every single one.
This weekend features a lot of already committed Washington Huskies, and those players are intriguing, but for this article, let's focus on three players who have yet to decide and are in Montlake this weekend.
Jailen Hill: 4-star DB
Hill is one of the top defensive backs in the 2027 recruiting class, but he's been a tough recruit to pin down. He's been predicted to Indiana, Nebraska, and has even restarted his recruitment at least one time. Getting him on campus is huge for Fisch, as his recruitment still remains pretty wide open. He currently only has two visits set up with Washington and Nebraska. Fisch is hoping to keep him in Seattle before his second official visit weekend to the Cornhuskers.
Dontay Tyson: 4-star WR
Tyson is another 4-star prospect and is listed as the No. 6 player in Arizona. He is known for his speed, but also for how quickly he can get in and out of his breaks. Tyson is also only currently going on two official visits to Texas A&M and Washington. Fisch will have the first chance to get him to be a Husky, and there is some real optimism that he will be a Dawg when all is said and done.
However, watch out for not just the Aggies but also Arizona and Tennessee.
Chaz Gray: 4-star EDGE
Not listed as a 4-star with 24/7 Sports, but Rivals has him as a 4-star. He has a recruitment list of a blue-chip player, as he has 24 offers from all over the country. Clemson, Tennessee, and Washington are all considered to be the favorites for his services, as each program is scheduled for a visit. Fisch will get the first crack at the dynamic edge, ranked as a top-10 player in New Jersey.
