One great thing about the 2025 Washington Huskies football schedule is that UW will get a chance to get some rest at two points in the season. And that’s pretty important. There are two bye weeks in the 2025 UW football season. And while we’ve already talked about the first, we haven’t addressed the second just yet.
Washington Husky fans who have looked through the 2025 schedule have likely noticed the interesting time of the second bye week, which is set up a time that could help Washington late in the season.
That’s because the second bye week is coming pretty late in the season. On November 1, Jedd Fisch and the Washington Husky football team will get their second breather of the season. It will come towards the end of a tough October stretch and right before an intriguing November slate of games.
To be completely honest, after taking a road trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan to face the Michigan Wolverines and then a home game against Bret Bielema and the Illinois Fighting Illini, Fisch’s Huskies will likely be very ready for that bye week on the first of November.
When is the second bye week for the Washington Huskies during the 2025 college football schedule?
The week after this break is an intriguing trip on up to Madison, Wisconsin to face off against the Wisconsin Badgers in Camp Randall Stadium. If for some reason you don’t think that game could be a problem, just ask Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks what it’s like to take a mid November trip to Madison. They certainly got tested by the Badgers last season.
So yeah, this bye week is coming at a pretty good time for the Huskies. I’m not upset about the timing of this one. If anything, I wish the first bye week was a week or two later than it currently is. But even that isn’t the end of the world.
