Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies will have plenty of challenges during the 2025 Washington Husky football season. There are a ton of tough tests lined up for UW on the upcoming football schedule. But, well, there are a few games that will certainly be manageable. It’s safe to say that the Purdue Boilermakers fall in that latter category.

Purdue is entering its first season under Barry Odom after the Boilermakers made the decision to part ways with now Washington Huskies defensive coordinator Ryan Walters. And while Odom has had some success in places that are difficult to win, it’s flat out ridiculously hard to win at Purdue.

Odom will have his work cut out for him as he tries to get one of the lower Big Ten programs into a competitive team. And that means that Washington’s late season matchup with Purdue in the second season that the Huskies have been in the Big Ten should result in a pretty notable win for UW (which will be cool for Walters, in my opinion).

When will the Washington Huskies face off against the Purdue Boilermakers in the 2025 college football season?

Right now, UW and Purdue are set to meet on November 15 in Husky Stadium. This will be the first time the two teams have met in this century as the last time they faced off was back in 1989, which was a remarkably different era of college football.

This matchup against the Boilermakers will come after a trip to Camp Randall to face the Wisconsin Badgers and before the Huskies head to meet up with the UCLA Bruins in Pasadena. Of all the games in the late season stretch for UW, this is by far the most manageable. It’s certainly going to be easier than UW’s final game of the season when the Oregon Ducks come to town.
