Here are the Washington football odds and prediction that you need to know heading into Week 9.

Washington football narrowly won their contest against the Arizona Wildcats down in Tucson, Arizona.

The Huskies were 2-4 on the season heading into this game and were hoping for an easy win against a Wildcats team who hadn’t won a game in nearly two calendar years.

It wasn’t an easy victory from the beginning, as Arizona led the Huskies 13-0 at halftime, however, the Huskies managed to come back from the deficit to win 21-16.

This week, Washington is headed down to California to take on the Stanford Cardinal. Washington enters this game 3-4 overall and 2-2 in conference. As for Stanford, they are also 3-4 overall and 2-3 in conference.

Huskies vs Cardinal Prediction Week 9

The Washington football program is 1-2 on the road this season while Stanford is 1-2 at home. It isn’t going to be an easy match-up for either team and once again, the outcome of this game is going to be decided by the Huskies’ secondary.

Stanford is out-performing opponents in terms of passing yards but their run game has been lacking. The same thing could be said about Arizona’s run game yet the Huskies’ defense allowed them to rush for 218 yards and they average 5.5 yards per attempt in Week 8.

Surprisingly, in the past week few weeks, Washington has somehow managed to stay in every game they have played. They narrowly lost to Oregon State and California in Weeks 5 and 7, respectively.

The Huskies could easily be 6-1 or even 7-0 if the offensive play-calling wasn’t horrid. They should have found a way to make the necessary changes after their Week 1 loss but here we are in Week 9…
