Zion Tupuola-Fetui and Bralen Trice

A favorite of the coaching staff who’s probably in line for a much bigger workload this year, Zion Tupuola-Fetui, is an exciting prospect. He’ll probably have a similar role to Bowman, but with a little more speed to his game. He can make an impact off the edge as a power rusher, but is also strong enough to set the edge and force runners back towards the middle of the defense.

ZTF should see a big jump in both playing time and production during his third year on campus. It’s a bit of a mystery where he might fit in on the depth chart at the moment.

The same can be said for Bralen Trice when it comes to playing time. The redshirt freshman has put on 13 pounds since he arrived on campus, and it appears to be all muscle. He has a good burst off the edge and should become more of an impact player as he continues to add weight and strength.

If the Huskies did hold a spring game, Trice would’ve been an interesting prospect to watch to see how far he’s come in his development. When and if summer practices start to take place, look for both of these guys to be firmly in the mix to move up the depth chart.
