Where does Washington football sit among the Pac-12 right now after their loss last week to Cal?

Washington football is currently sitting at 1-1, so where do they fall in the Pac-12 right now?

1.   Utah (2-0)

The Utes came into the season with lofty expectations, including some experts’ picks as a playoff dark horse. So far they haven’t really looked the part of a playoff team but they still have come out on top of every game they have played. Their offense has looked fairly mediocre thus far, but their defense is legit. They have an elite defensive line which takes the pressure off of their secondary. With improved play from Tyler Huntley, Utah looks like the team to beat right now in the Pac-12.

2.   Washington State (3-0)

The Cougars continue to prove offseason expectations mean nothing. They’ve found consistency under head coach Mike Leach and as long as he is there, people need to stop doubting this team. Their offense looks like the most potent in the conference by far, Anthony Gordon looks miraculously like an upgrade from Gardner Minshew. WSU looks primed for another special season this year, they just haven’t faced a real test yet.
