Offensive Line

The O-line is going to be one of the best in the country, as all five players are returning starters. Nick Harris (or as Bleacher Report calls him, Tim), and Trey Adams were both named second-team preseason All-Americans. Jaxson Kirkland was a freshman All-American according to The Athletic, and Jared Hilbers was a more than capable replacement at left tackle while Adams recovered from his various injuries. Expect left guard Luke Wattenberg to be pushed by the mammoth behind him, as 6’6, 352 pound redshirt freshman M.J. Ale looks more than ready to compete.

Running Backs

No surprise with Salvon Ahmed as the starter, and all signs point to him being the bell cow back for the Huskies in 2019. Sean McGrew is currently listed as second on the depth chart, but I have a feeling we’re going to see a heavy rotation of Kamari Pleasant, Richard Newton, and freshman Cameron Davis as well. The rotation will probably be situational, but don’t be surprised if all of them get carries.
