Defensive Tackles

The defensive tackle pairing of Faatui Tuitele from St. Louis (Hawaii) and Jacob Bandes from Pittsburg (Calif.) are the Huskies highest-rated recruits from the 2019 cycle. Tuitele was ranked as high as 29th in the country, and after the Huskies lost three defensive tackles last season, both guys have a great chance to see the field.

They should be able to make the most out of their first year on campus and use all four games that they’re eligible to play in. We probably won’t see Sama Paama this season, he spent most of the spring doing drills in shorts, and the Huskies will most likely want to be careful with the 340 pound 17-year-old.
