WOOF! Washington football has landed a four-star, top 100 offensive lineman from Colorado!

Washington football has established themselves as the alpha Dawgs in the Pac-12, and the commitment of Roger Rosengarten just adds to that mentality. Rosengarten is a NASTY, 6’7, 275 pound offensive lineman out of Valor Christian in Colorado. He’s currently rated as the number 92 overall player in the country by the 247 Sports rating, and after watching his film, that’s sure to shoot way up during his senior year.

He’s a perfect fit to add to the Huskies’ power run scheme, and projects out as a left guard (to me at least) in the Husky system. When he gets his hands on a player on the second level, they’re only going one way, and that’s to the ground. The edge and aggression he plays with is something to be admired, and he’s so agile and light on his feet, that would be a nightmare for any linebacker or defensive end on the college level, to see him barrelling down on them.

The Huskies have done an excellent job recruiting the offensive line over the last few seasons, and the commitment of Rosengarten is just the start of what could be an even better class this year. The Huskies are still very much in the running for the number one offensive lineman on the west coast, Myles Murao, and are considered the leader for Geirean Hatchett, an elite interior player from Ferndale, Washington.

Combining that class with the 2018 and 2019 offensive line classes, and the Huskies are set on the offensive line for years to come! Now the strategy turns to getting a second running back for Rosengarten to protect… hey Roger, if you’re reading this, first of all thanks, second of all, maybe you should give Sam Adams II a call!

Congratulations to Roger on his commitment to UW, this is a huge get for the Washington program!
