(8) Will offensive tackle Trey Adams play well in this game?

It should come as no surprise to Washington Football fans that offensive tackle Trey Adams will certainly be one of the difference makers in this game.  And despite the image above, it will likely NOT be rushing with the ball. OT Adams is listed at 6-foot-8 and 316 pounds of solid muscle.  He will likely face off against 6-foot-3 278 pound Auburn defensive end Marlon Davidson.

Adams is coming back this season from injury.  That won’t lower expectations for his performance this year, however.  We had discussed his injury months ago. At that time, we projected his return on or about this time frame. The fact that he is suiting up to start speaks volumes to this young man’s work ethic.

His absence coincided with a significant drop in Washington’s passing success last season. So, by logical deduction, his return should mark a significant improvement in Washington’s passing game this season.

But even more than that, Trey Adams spearheads a host of very talented seniors on the Washington Football team. By some estimations, as many as a dozen graduates could hear their name called at the 2019 NFL Draft. His performance in this game will likely dictate in which round he will be called.
