If Washington Basketball continues success, you can bet Matisse Thybulle is one reason. In Coach Hopkins system, here are five reasons why he will do just that.

Washington Basketball player Matisse Thybulle plays a very versatile and integral part for Coach Hopkins this past season. Versatile, because he stands a tall 6-foot-5 in NCAA Men’s basketball. At that height, and that tremendous wingspan of 7-foot-0, he is a defensive standout who can also take over on offense as well. Integral because he can defend virtually any player on the court.   That allows Coach Hopkins to send him out against shooting guards, to as high as a power forward.

Defense

But regardless of design, in a 2-3 zone defense, the rotation of offensive players dictate who becomes the primary responsibility of each defender. That plays a significant factor in the success of the defender. Well, defenders not named Matisse Thybulle.

The 2017-2018 seson was a huge success. Not only in wins and losses. But in the entire team building phenomenon.
