Bryan Penn Johnson takes UW to next level
The Washington Basketball team has taken the entire #TougherTogether to heart. This is a team, a group of young men playing together – not a featured star and the supporting cast. And it’s that team concept which is and should be on everyone’s mind when they decide where they should play.
Three young men have made their commitment to play for Coach Hopkins in 3-star 6-foot-2 point guard Elijah Hardy, 4-star 6-foot-6 small forward Jamal Bey, and 3-star 7-foot-0 power forward Nate Roberts. The team holds a commitment from 3-star 6-foot-7 small forward Ed Chang, with reports out that he may be reclassifying to 2019.
Bryan Penn-Johnson has an incredibly complimentary skill-set which takes this team to the next level. Rebounding practically everything within reach, his ability to deny second shots to the opposing team is incredibly valuable. Add to that his ability to initiate the transition game, and then follow home with a huge score by trailing the play, and you’ve got your highlight reel filled up for the evening.
