Has Bryan Penn-Johnson noticed Washington Basketball’s success?
By Bret Stuter
The Washington Basketball team, projected tenth in the Pac-12, are enjoying remarkable success. But that success could double if it helps attract 4-star center prospect Bryan Penn-Johnson to the class of 2018
The Washington Basketball team has been turning some heads recently. But there is a vacuum where the status of 4-star center Bryan Penn Johnson is concerned. Not of hope, but of significant knowledge. What will he do? Well, we do know that the Washington Huskies are among his final two teams. The other is the DePaul Blue Demons, who are currently 9-14 overall and 2-9 in the Big East Conference play. DePaul is located in Chicago, Illinois, DePaul is a nice school.
But it’s not the Emerald City.
Seattle Washington was rated amount the 20 Best US Cities to Live in by Today.com’s Jordi Lippe-McGraw in February 2017. Coming in at sixth, Seattle is a rare combination of solid economy, affordable living, and awash in the finer things like top-notch restaurants, education, and entertainment. And of course, education falls upon the University of Washington. All of this upon a lush green landscape, which has given the city the nickname of The Emerald City.
Academically and Athletically sound
Academically, student athletes find their minds challenged just as much as their bodies and their determination. UW is among the nation’s leaders in medicine, engineering, and sciences. But the school offers so much diversity too, in its academic disciplines, in its students, and in the fact that the University of Washington leads the nation in volunteerism. That is the incredible caliber of the Washington Husky family. Caring for one another.
But it goes beyond the streets and into the stands. And from the stands onto the basketball court. The Washington Men’s Basketball team is creating some special magic this season. As shocking display of basketball, both offensively and defensively, which amazes fans even as they witness the team’s performance before their very eyes.
