February 7th is National Signing Day 2018! The Washington Football team welcomes some of the best football prospects in the nation.  But will there be another positive surprise to top off this class on a high note? Will Coach Chris Peterson and company close the deal on their top targets?

The University of Washington enters Signing Day 2018  with 21  committed players. Of that group, only two remain unsigned: four-star defensive tackle Tuli Letuligasenoa and safety Julius Irvin.

The remaining 19 had already signed during the early signing period.

A boost for the Huskies could still come form the chance the team lands 4-star 6-foot-6 pro-style quarterback Tanner McKee from Corona, California, or weakside defensive end Jeremiah Martin. Martin chose to save his last official vist for Washington, and was able to witness the stunning upset of the Arizona Wildcats at the Huskies home basketball game.

While this team appears to be set, there is always a remote chance of another football player joining the class.

Last year, UW secured the nation’s 22nd ranked class with a Signing Week haul of Salvon Ahmed, Hunter Bryant, Elijan Molden, Henry Bainivalu, and more. This year, the Huskies class enters the day last ranked at 11 by USA TODAY, but there is still the possibility of seeing that score rise.

We’ll have full coverage of Signing Day here at Husky Haul, as we track all of the Huskies’ signings and live blog, in addition to generating conversation below in our comment section.
