By Bret Stuter
With the Washington Football 2018 recruiting class nearly official, we here at Husky Haul are going to keep you updated with every commit, de-commit and much more! All rankings used are from the 247Sports Composite Index.
We understand that today, February 7, 2018 National Signing Day will be chaos. News, hints, and rumors regarding the Washington Football team will come at you from every direction. We’ll sort through it all so you don’t have to. In fact, we will have a live thread open all day for you to participate in as National Letters of Intent come in and recruits announce their intentions.
The 2018 University of Washington football class sits at 21+1 commitments with the most recent being four-star defensive tackle Tuli Letuligasenoa. The class is currently ranked No. 11 nationally and No. 1 in the PAC-12. The +1 is of course the addition of former Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason, who officially transferred to the University of Washington, as expected.
Early signing period new format
Below is the 2018 class as of February 6, 2018. We Will KEEP THIS FILE UPDATED THROUGH NATIONAL SIGNING DAY so be sure to favorite this article to stay up to date. The Husky Haul will run a separate LIVE Tracker as well on February 7, 2018. Due to the new format, and the fact that Coach Petersen will not hold a National Signing Day press conference this year, there may not be as many breaking news stories:
Still, there are several known possibilities to commit today. And the news continues to pour in on the positive side, so anything is possible. As you review the list, all players have signed but two, who will be identified as we name them.

Two players had enrolled and are already on campus. They are two of the nation’s most highly regarded quarterbacks: Jacob Sirmon and Colson Yankoff. We consider them our twin- barreled shotgun:

That’s the class of 2018, ladies and gentlemen. And what a great group of young men it is! It’s difficult to imagine the impact of so many highly talented players inbound in one year. We’ll sort that all out in the upcoming weeks.
Next: QB Jacob Eason officially transfers to Washington Football team
For now, this class is incredibly impressive. And there is still a chance of more encore from this Washington Football team. Perhaps the addition of walk-on running back Jamy Patu?
