The Washington Football team needs defensive players. A true need for the team is at the defensive tackle position. The team lost Elijah Qualls to the 2017 NFL Draft, and faces further attrition this year with Vita Vea.
Surprisingly, no defensive backs have committed to the team yet. But the team has garnered the interest of five cornerbacks and a safety so far. Will the Huskies land a commitment this summer? You would tend to think so.

Coach Lake has an incredible track record of coaching up defensive backs., and he has another opportunity to do so this year. At some point, hopefully near term, that will translate into a young man or two entrusting him with their NFL futures. Right now, he is about as good as it gets.
But the team has more quality from defense as well at risk of entering next year’s NFL Draft. Ultimately, the team will need to attract defenders to fill the roster.

Oh, the summer temperatures will heat up as well.
