Does Dallas Deal Do It?

Right now, the Dallas Cowboys pick at 28.   The very same Landry Hat expects the Cowboys could expect a 1st round pick for Romo if traded. Presuming the pick is in the mid to low teens, the Cowboys would most certainly have enough fire power to move up.  Would they do it?

  • The philosophy of the Dallas Cowboys on draft day suggests they would. They had traded up in the draft often in recent history. And the record setting speed of wide receiver John Ross III is very tempting.

The Dallas Cowboys know they frailty of NFL dominance. Right now, the team has loaded up the offense with dominating youth on the offensive line, quarterback, and running back positions. The team needs that one wide receiver to complete the set.

    A Familiar Trio Part II

John Ross III combined with returning rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott would be awfully familiar to Dallas Cowboys fans. Recall Troy Aikman, Emitt Smith, and Michael Irvin had great success in Dallas?

The Cowboys fans, even the most staunchly conservative ones, would jump at the chance to cheer for the trio of quarterback, running back, and wide receiver.

I think there is enough here to call this a legit rumor worth watching.  You know Jerry Jones would love to get one more ring.  Wide Receiver John Ross III could be that one player to put the team over the top.
