Logic, Links, and Scenarios

Well, the Landry Hat gives two pieces to the puzzle that link Ross to the Cowboys:

"“The Cowboys have expressed that they would like to add a speedy wide receiver to help stretch defenses and this is seemingly the class to find that type of player.” – Carl Daley, The Landry Hat"

Since John Ross III set the record for fastest time ever recorded at the NFL Combine, he immediately falls into that category.

Daley draws the logical link in the article:

"“In terms of wide receivers, the speedsters shined over the weekend. Washington’s John Ross and Ohio State’s Curtis Samuel stole the show. Ross ran the fastest 40-time in the history of the combine as he recorded a 4.22.”"

And so now it’s merely a matter of can the Cowboys land high enough in the 2017 NFL Draft to select John Ross? Well, if projections are accurate, Ross will likely be a top 20 pick. With his NFL Combine performance, he’ll likely inch up to the 10-15 slots.
