The Morning Haul: 9/20
By Evan Webeck
Good morning, Husky fans. It’s been a week without a Morning Haul, have you missed it? With about 29 hours until kickoff, it seemed like a good time to get you caught up on some other Huskies coverage other than ours.
Anyway, onto the links.
Stories especially worth reading:
The Pac-12 has elevated itself close to the level of the SEC, ESPN Insider Brad Edwards says. The Pac-12 has only lost three games to other BCS competition, compared to the SEC’s six losses. With similar top-level teams to the SEC, the Pac-12’s depth is what is putting it into the discussion of the best conference in college footbal.
A fan post at UW Dawg Pound answers the question, “Where are the points?” Hint: they’re there. Much of the yardage comes because of the bad field position UW gets, so the Huskies are actually out-performing what their actual point outputs should be.
Our friends over at UW Dawg Pound provide some more content. This time, they preview Idaho State’s offense and defense.
Cyler Miles is cementing himself as Keith Price’s backup, and he’s becoming more comfortable as the season goes on. Hopefully he doesn’t get too comfortable, as he should see plenty of time Saturday (and next season).
