The Morning Haul: 8/4
Alright, so fall camp officially begins tomorrow. That will mean stepped up posting, and lots more to post about, starting tomorrow. While the first game isn’t for another month, this is pretty much the end of the long, boring off season. From this time there will be interesting events to comment on all through football season, basketball season, and finally National Signing Day. Not until March will it be the terrible off season again. I can’t wait.
Stories Especially Worth Reading:
On the 1st of this month I mentioned that I would probably link to the Dawg Pound pretty often. Well, turns out they’ve made some changes over there, including some added staff if I’m not mistaken, and in honor of camp starting tomorrow they have posted a ton of great content today.
I realize that technically the Dawg Pound is a competitor to Husky Haul, but good content is good content, and if you’re a fan of reading Husky sports articles (which I assume if you’re reading this) you should go enjoy the half dozen or so full on pieces up all at once.
I won’t link all of them, you can just go explore the site, but there are a few that I find particularly interesting.
Ryan Priest explores Coach Sarkisian’s past at Washington and what the future may hold in this upcoming season, one that is so important to his legacy.
A nice look at all of the Washington freshmen and their potential to have an on-field impact in year one from Jack Follman.
Finally, here’s a collected list of all the Huskies in the NFL and how their careers are doing at this point in the preseason.
