The Morning Haul 6/10

Good morning, Husky fans. 10 days into the month for the first Morning Haul, so I can finally say Happy June. Anyway, let’s get to the links.

The point spreads were released for 10 UW football games last week. The Huskies are favored in five of them.

"So basically, UW is an underdog in every road game other than Illinois (which is technically a neutral site contest) and then also at home against Oregon. At first glance, the 14-point spread in favor of Oregon seems higher than I expected, and it also surprises me that UW is a bigger underdog at Oregon State than it is at UCLA."

Ted Miller recaps Athlon Sports’s Pac-12 Preview.

"The magazine ranks the Pac-12 second behind the SEC in its conference rankings, with the Big Ten third and the Big 12 fourth…It projects just one Pac-12 team earning a BCS bowl berth."

The TNT’s Todd Dybas caught up with Lorenzo Romar to talk everything from staff overhaul to the alumni game.

"Will you be on the floor for any of these scheduled events at the alumni gathering? If I can somehow get out there between now and then without some muscle pulling or something, I may get out there and shoot a jumper or two."

Finally, Justin Wilcox could find himself with some head coaching offers after this season, according to ESPN.com (Insider)

"All of this is to say that Wilcox is a bright, likable guy, and he has talented players such as safety-linebacker Shaq Thompson, but his stock is hitched to Washington’s. If the Huskies can break through in the Pac-12, he could become a target."
