The Morning Haul: 10/22
I know the team is in a bad place when I spend a big chunk of my day sitting on my computer, debating with those calling for the firing of Coach Sark on twitter. It is simply no fun.
Stories Especially Worth Reading:
Apparently the Huskies are only a four point underdog against Oregon State this Saturday, which, to be honest, seems outrageously low. I realize that Washington is a much better team at home, and that Sean Mannion is still gone, but it still seems to be like Oregon State should be favored by at least a touchdown. At least.
This Condotta article about the crisis of three straight losses pretty much sums up the current mood of the program.
The Dawg Pound has position grades for the Arizona game. Don’t expect high marks.
Ted Miller has Washington playing in the New Mexico bowl in his week nine Pac-12 bowl predictions. Gotta say, I’m not all that confident than the Huskies will make a bowl. That may seem like an overreaction, but Utah and Cal don’t seem quite as terrible lately, which really just leaves Colorado as an easy win, as the Cougars’ spread attack will probably give Washington serious trouble, if Arizona and Oregon were any indication. Maybe 6 or 7 wins are still most likely, but who knows right now.
