The Morning Haul: 9/15

facebooktwitterreddit

Good morning everyone, sorry for the late posting, the site was down for part of the morning. It’s game day! And we don’t even have to wait until 6 or 7 in the afternoon, it’ll be on in roughly two hours. Remember that the game is on FX, so if you have DirecTV you can still watch the game. If you have FX. Not really sure why the game is on FX, but it is.

Even if Portland State isn’t the most high profile opponent the Huskies could have picked, I’m still excited for this game because in all likelihood, it will actually be fun to watch. I understand that some people won’t take a lot of joy in such a mismatched game, but I always find a certain measure of joy in watching the Huskies succeed, even in a game where success is fully expected. I haven’t really gotten that this year, especially on offense, and it’ll be nice.

That being said, the above paragraph may very well put a jinx on the entire game so that the Huskies score 12 points on four field goals, and I’ll take full responsibility for my words if that becomes a reality.
