Jake Locker To Start For Tennessee

Former University of Washington quarterback Jake Locker will be the starting QB for the Tennessee Titans this season. Locker, the former 8th overall pick, beat out Matt Hasselbeck to win the job.
Professionally, Locker has shined in his limited opportunities. He has 4 touchdowns to 0 interceptions, with a rushing touchdown as well and a career QB Rating of just under 100.
I can’t help but wonder how this is possible for a guy who was almost universally panned by non-UW fans as a bad college QB, a reach in the draft, and a future benchwarmer in the NFL. Or, maybe those people had no clue what they were talking about.
