Tony Parker is one of the best players in the class of 2012 and he has decided to play basketball next year for the UCLA Bruins. He is part of an already heralded class for the Bruins which includes the top player in 2012 Shabazz Muhammad.

Ben Howland and UCLA has now landed three 5-star basketball commitments next season and one 4-star. Many recruiting analysts are even declaring UCLA’s recruiting class as the best recruiting class in the country. Others argue for Kentucky, but either way, the Bruins have an impressive haul.

Muhammad is listed as either the top player in 2012 or second behind Nerlens Noel. Parker is in the top 20 and one of the best centers. They also have an LOI signed from Kyle Anderson who is considered a point forward but projects well as a hybrid small forward. He is in the top 5 amongst most site’s rankings. Finally, UCLA has an LOI from Jordan Adams from Oak Hill Academy. He is one of the best pure shooters in the 2012 class. He may even be the best. He won the 3-point shoot out in the Les Schwab Invitational at Portland, Oregon this year by a landslide.

The Bruins should be the Pac-12 favorite again in the pre-season due to this impressive recruiting class and still being able to retain some of their better players from last season.

What does this mean for the Huskies? Look for that article in the morning.
