Preview: This three game series will be the last breath for Washington before they launch into a brutal stretch in which they will play 23 games against ranked opponents. Washington beat a great team in Oregon last weekend, now they need to beat a below average team to gain momentum into the tough conference schedule. The Bakersfield team will not be more than Washington can handle, it will just come down to if they can play like they did against Oregon. Aaron West, Tyler Davis, and Austin Voth will likely start the three games this weekend. Those three also got starts last weekend against a good Oregon offense, and combined to allow just 5 earned runs. If they can repeat their performances, the Huskies will have a good chance a sweeping the Roadrunners in Seattle.
