Jabari Brown Has Left Oregon
By Mark Knight
The word out of Eugene, Oregon today is that heralded freshman Jabari Brown has left Oregon. It was rumored yesterday but was announced today on Oregon radio before the Ducks tipped off, that Brown would no longer be part of the team.
He was struggling early in the season turning the ball over 11 times while only have 12 points. He just didn’t seem to be quite ready for the college game.
However, he has the potential to be an amazing basketball player in college and came out of Oakland, California as a 4/5 star shooting guard. Many teams coveted his abilities.
Dana Altman plans to address the issue shortly after the game against Southeast Missouri State today. This post will be updated to reflect that new information. Stay tuned.
UPDATE: All that was learned from the post-game comments from Dana Altman was that Jabari Brown left on his own accord. Altman says the door is still open for him to return and that he will try and speak with Brown to see if he will return.
