He and his family regularly go on mission trips to various African nations, distributing supplies and fellowshipping with the people there. Just last year, Matt Barkley spent 11 days of his Christmas break in Nigeria, where he visited a local orphanage, and helping with construction and water projects. For his giving nature, Matt was named to the 2011 AllState Good Works Team."
