UW still tends to find themselves at the bottom when it comes to defensive stats. Even their offensive stats have taken a hit as of late. Keith Price is falling behind in the touchdown passes and Kearse hasn’t caught a touchdown in a couple of weeks.
Chris Polk however, has been doing great at improving his numbers. In fact, one stat that is not listed above is Polk’s rushing touchdowns, he has 9 on the season. That puts him in 26th place in the nation and only a few touchdowns from being in the top 10. This may be a future stat we keep an eye on.
UW faces a statistically similar opponent in USC this week when it comes to offensive numbers. However, USC’s defense does stack up better in the nation than Washington’s defense.
