Happy 4th Of July Weekend

This is a big weekend for our nation but a slow weekend for the world of college sports. It is a few days before the first evaluation period for college basketball. On the 6th of July coaches and scouts will be traveling around the country watching AAU basketball. There will be a lot of updates coming up speaking on future recruits in college basketball.

In College football recruits from last season are starting to arrive on campus and most of the big college recruits for 2012 are planning visits for the next few months.

Here at the HuskyHaul, we are going to take the 4th off and we will be back in full force on the 5th! I was able to talk with Jernard Jarreau today and I will have a post or two up from our conversation. Let’s just say that I am really excited that he is a Husky!

• Jake Locker was married to long time girlfriend Lauren today!
• Jernard Jarreau arrived in Seattle today and enjoyed a good Seattle summer day.
• UW may be in on Katin Reinhardt a former USC commit, according to Josh Gershon of Scout.
