Scout.com broke three different commitments to UW today. The first came this morning from Brandon Huffman, in Bryan Harper, a fantastic athlete from Ontario, California. The following two came this afternoon from Chris Fetters who broke the commitments of Taylor Lagace and Kalei Auelua.

Here is a little more about each of these commitments:

  • Bryan Harper- Plays a lot of QB currently on his high school team. He excels there but primarily plays this position because he is the best athlete on his team. He also plays defensive-back on the defensive side of the ball. He is a pretty good lockdown corner at the high school level. He fits best at this position in college but could also find himself playing wide-receiver. UW was recruiting him to play cornerback.
  • Taylor Lagace- is a stellar safety out of Arcadia, California. He has terrific range but needs to work on his change of direction and man-to-man coverage. He is an excellent pickup. In a few years could be really fighting to for a starting roster spot.
  • Kalei Auelua- I haven’t seen or heard much from this recruit but he does have a good list of offers behind him. This shows that many schools wanted his services. He had offers from Boise State, Colorado, Hawaii, UCLA, and others. He has good size at about 6’2 and 240.
