Reign Man Jr. coming to Montlake?

According to Kim Grinolds of Dawgman.com, Shawn Kemp Jr. will probably be walking on for Romar and the Huskies this Fall. There has been speculation for months about this possibility, but Kim is usually right about these things. Kemp Jr. is 6’10” and 260 pounds and was once committed to Auburn.

Kemp Jr. is no Kemp Sr., but he could be a real pick-up for UW if he doesn’t cost them a scholarship. We all know that Romar is not fond of walk-ons (they complain about playing time), but if Kemp Jr. hasn’t lost a step since going to community college, he could actually be a contributor next year. While this is only speculation as of now, keep this in the back of your mind.
