The NCAA committee has spoken and Washington was given a 7 seed playing 10 seed Georgia on Friday. The good news is that the Huskies avoided the dreaded 8/9 game and may have gotten the easiest 10 seed in the tournament in Georgia. The bad news is that UW will have to travel all the way to Charlotte, NC.
I will briefly mention that North Carolina looms next in a virtual home game if the Huskies advance, but let’s worry about that later. It’s tournament time and anything can happen.
Also, I created the first ever Montlake Madness Bracket Challenge. It’s free to play and I can’t wait to beat all of you. The winner will only get MM bragging rights but I will give you credit and multiple shout outs on the blog.
More analysis to come in the next few days.
