Chances of Angelo Chol to UW?

facebooktwitterreddit

We are just a few days away from Angelo Chol sitting down and giving his commitment. He has visited every school that he narrowed it down to: Alabama, Arizona, Kansas, North Carolina, and Washington. And yet every one of those schools thinks they have the upper leg in landing the highly coveted recruit.

Percy Allen posted a wonderful blog about UW making a good impression on Chol, here. And if you asked UW’s best recruiters for Chol, Hikeem Stewart and Tony Wroten Jr., they seem fairly convinced that he is going to be a Husky.

However, let’s breakdown by his twitter account his impression of every school he visited.

In Alabama he seemed most impressed by standing next to Mark Ingram and seeing lots of dreadlocks. Here is a summary of his visit he sent to an Alabama fan that was recruiting him over twitter:

His next visit was about a month later when he went to Kansas. He talked about laughing a lot and he enjoyed the game. Here is what he said about the crowd and his best post from the visit:

North Carolina was his next stop and his first of the new year. He was there for their new year’s day game. With the environment there and the history of the team, one would think this would be an amazing visit. However, this one seemed to be his least favorite by twitter standards. Here is a summary of what he thought of UNC:

The Pac-10 were his next two visits with Arizona and quickly followed by Washington.
I am not sure if he is just playing his cards close to his chest in Arizona or he just didn’t have much to twitter about. Here is what he said about his Arizona trip:

Washington was his last stop before he announces on Thursday. His highlights from twitter included, his time spent with Hikeem Stewart and Tony Wroten Jr. He laughed, stayed up all night, he went to Wroten’s game and watched ESPN with Lorenzo Romar. I would suggest you just look at some of his tweets from the past week, but here is a highlight:

Let’s hope that Hikeem Stewart had it right when he predicted that Chol would be a Husky. His confidence in that- 98%.
