Desmond Simmons Signs his Letter of Intent

We’ve written a bunch about Desmond Simmons recently (including this interview – part I here and part II here), and no real surprises today (and I’m enjoying a night out with friends this evening), so links only on this first day of the early signing period.

As expected, Desmond Simmons signed his letter of intent to UW.

Here’s some more from Percy on the rest of the Dawgs’ plans for 2010, including an interview with Coach. Generally, not super-compelling to hear a coach talk about recruiting, because the rules don’t allow them to say much. Super-impressed that Percy got a coach interview together that’s worth reading on the subject, but he did indeed.

Harrison Barnes, the top-rated recruit in the nation (and not a Husky target) plans to announce on Friday. He’s already got an NBA-level awareness of how to play the media, and seems to be enjoying the process.

Terrence Jones may indeed wait until spring, according Scout.com (pay site), but nothing has been officially announced.
